Following the success of yesterday’s action in front of the Parliament in Strasbourg; the Good Food Good Farming campaign today approached the Parliament building from a different angle. Shortly before the vote; Parliamentarians crossing the bridge that joins the two builidngs over the water, were met with a fanfare band playing from a boat below. Calling for a Green, Fair and Local CAP the activists below chanted ‘We want greening’ and ‘CAP rotation’ to those gathered above; many with smartphones who then directly tweeted the image such as the one below from Dave Keating.
