A German documentary shown on TV last night addresses the issue of land grabbing in Romania, and documents the business that is being done to secure fertile land.
The film demonstrates the attractiveness of the land for foreign investors as well as the effects the process is having for the local population and small farmers. The documentary speaks in depth to ARC correspondent for Romania – Attila Szocs.
