For its latest campaign video, Friends of the Earth sent out four imaginary out-of-work bees to try their luck with urban jobs. The result is a snapshot of the typical city dwellers’ incomprehension of the natural world in general and insects in particular.
This most recent Bee Cause video has been released a couple of weeks ahead of the FOE UK annual conference, which will be held at Imperial College, London, from September 14 to 16. Headline speakers include fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Green Party MP Caroline Lucas, while land grab campaigning author Fred Pearce will be leading a seminar.
