Ahead of the exchange of views on CAP on 23rd January, FoodDrinkEurope has requested the CAP measures more explicitly address the need for productivity and production growth in both pillars, while protecting EU productive potential and safeguarding natural resources, such as soil and water.
Their policy position, published in December 2011, supports ARC’s position in terms of the need to protect our natural resource base, demonstrating the breadth of organisations recognising the need for these measures to be taken into account in the CAP reform.
