The series of ARC debates continued on February 18th, 2011 at BioFach in Nuremberg. IFOAM, the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements, and patron of BioFach, organised the panel debate “CAP Post 2013 State of Negotiations – What stake for the organic sector and how to place organic best in the process?”. ARC members Antje Kölling (IFOAM EU Group) and Dorota Metera (Bioekspert Ltd., Poland) discussed with Thomas Fertl (Bio Austria), Alessandro Triantafyllidis (AIAB, Italy) and Matthias Meissner (WWF Deutschland) the current state of play in the political arena in Brussels and the different challenges and needs of the organic sector within the EU Member States.
BioFach is the World’s Biggest Organic Trade Fair, which brings together about 2.500 exhibitors and approximately 46.000 trade visitors from around 120 countries in Nuremberg every year.
