Stop the Crop is a new online campaign to stop GM-crops from spreading across Europe.

orporate Europe Observatory and Friends of the Earth Europe launched the site and short film to present the dangers of GM-crops and encourage people to share the information widely.
To date public action has been crucial in the fight against GM crops. Public opposition to GM-crops has meant that nearly all attempts to licence new GM-crops in Europe have failed. This website comes as the EU considers allowing more GM-crops to be grown in Europe.
To widen public knowledge on the issue, the site urges people to share the site and film so that more people understand the risks involved with GM-crops. People can also sign up to a mailing list to keep informed on new developments and actions. You can also follow the campaign on Facebook (facebook.com/StopTheCrop) and Twitter: #stopthecrop.
