Following the vote by the European Parliament Committee on Agriculture & Rural Development, Rose O’Donovan (Editor of AGRA FACTS), met the Committee Chair Paolo De Castro, to discuss some elements of the vote & the next steps in the CAP reform talks. “It’s the first time we have a vote in favour of capping. I want to remind you that even in the Franz Fischler Reform, and many times, we tried to introduce capping, and many times we refused. So, this is the first time we have a vote, and we have a vote in favour.”
