Big day for agriculture worldwide

Alongside the events happening in the European insitutions, today is also a significant day for agriculture in the international community. June 18th 2012 is the 4th Agriculture and Rural Development Day at Rio+20.

Taking place at the SulAmérica Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro, the programme for the event can be found here: http://www.agricultureday.org/programme. It will see 500 policy makers, farmers, scientists, development experts, and journalists come together to discuss the future of sustainable agriculture.
